Whitney Port: From The City to Rwanda

I've always had a weird affinity for Whitney of The Hills. I think it's because we both have overly expressive faces, we can both talk super slow (like half-retard sometimes) and we share a likable dumb blond appeal that hides a ferocious drive and sly intelligence underneath. Now I have even more reasons to love her! A few months back, she partnered with the The Urban Village to develop a scarf that women in Rwanda could handmake for the holiday season.

The process allowed these women to have careers and also helped to create a sustainable economy in their villages. The scarves are being sold online at the Urban Village e-store, with all proceeds going to right back to the scarfmakers!

Click HERE to check them out and help a woman and her family live a healthy and fulfilling life! 'Tis the season for giving!
