NY Fashion Week: Days 3 & 4

Ralph Lauren Spring 2008 Ready to Wear More highlights from New York Fashion Week: September 7 & 8, 2007 Ralph Lauren triumphantly celebrated his 40th Anniversary with a gorgeous collection of classic American elegance. Cynthia Rowley's collection had such an easy, breezy feel: long silk dresses with cinched waists stood out. Catherine Malandrino impressed with a collection featuring luxe details and beautiful draping. Chic and lady-like. The Proenza Schouler collection was fun, feminine and flirty, featuring lots of layering and lots of leg. Vera Wang showcased a voluminous collection of gorgeous fabrication and draping that is sure to be seen on a red-carpet near you. Doo Ri was like minimalism meeting sexy sophistication...beautiful lines and interesting silouhettes ruled the runway. My fave? J. Mendel. Gorgeousness unleashed! Uber-lush fabrics, great proportions, and simple little details came together as one fabulous collection. Source
