Trendwatch: Plaid for Fall

It's still hot and sticky outside but true fashionistas are already thinking Fall. Along with nautical, belted/cinched waists, tweeds, and feathers, plaid will make a strong showing this Fall. Beginning last Fall, tartan began appearing less on stodgy old men in Scotland and more on the most fashion foward ladies who lunch. A surefire way to wear this trend is as a skirt or dress, pairing it with dark tights and high boots. Plaid pants are a resounding no.
