Madonna strikes a pose in taupe Last night in the Big Apple, Mama Madonna hosted a star-studded fete sponsored by Gucci to benefit her charity, Raising Malawi, and UNICEF. Practically everybody is in town for Fashion Week, so there were a boatload of celebs that came out for a good cause. And I suppose when Madonna invites you somewhere, you accept. Let's take a look at just a few of the lucky celebs who scored an invite to her charity bash: Katie Holmes stood out in sky-high heels and a red pencil dress. Salma Hayek has her gorgeous figure back and wore the color of the moment, purple. Rihanna made yet another fashionable appearance, this time in forest green Gucci. J. Lo still knows how to serve it up on the red carpet, even though she's ready to pop. Gwyneth went back to her good luck color, bubblegum pink (of course you remember her Oscar dress). Alicia Keys went retro-glam in red with a waist-cinching belt. Debbie Messing was happy in head to toe Gucci. Drew opted for short and black with a splash of yellow. Dita's pink and black frock was origami inspired. "It" girl Amy Adams chose a regal royal blue. Heidi was too cute in this bloussant mini with obligatory pockets.
